Which solar system fits?

Three common approaches. The right choice depends on your bill pattern, outage tolerance, roof, and budget — we confirm after a survey.

On-grid (grid-tied)

Panels feed your loads and can export excess to the utility when net metering is in place. Best when grid supply is reasonably usable and you want bill reduction without a large battery bank. Night-time power still depends on the grid unless you add storage later.

Hybrid

Solar with battery storage and a grid connection. Hybrid designs can cover evening loads or short outages depending on battery size and which circuits you protect. Useful when you want both bill savings and backup for selected loads.

Off-grid

Designed to run without relying on the utility — typically larger storage and carefully sized loads. Undersizing leads to disappointment; we discuss feasibility honestly before promising outcomes.

Karachi / K-Electric net-metering — process overview

Net metering lets eligible systems export surplus energy under utility rules that can change. We assist with paperwork and coordination. We do not claim a “KE-approved installer” badge on this site. Final approval rests with the utility.

  1. Understand your bill — recent K-Electric (or applicable) bills help size the conversation.
  2. Roof & electrical survey — area, shading, structure, panelboard condition.
  3. System design — proposed array, inverter approach, and storage outline if hybrid/off-grid.
  4. Application pack — we help assemble documents the utility typically expects for net-metering applications.
  5. Install & commissioning — mounting, DC/AC work, safety checks.
  6. Utility metering step — meter change / bi-directional metering follows utility process and timelines (not controlled by us).

Exact forms and fees are set by the utility at the time you apply. Ask us for the current checklist when you enquire.

What we need from you

  • Recent electricity bill(s) (photo or PDF)
  • Roof type / approximate clear area, and any known shade (trees, tanks, neighbouring floors)
  • Priorities: bill savings vs backup vs both
  • Site access notes (DHA, apartment, commercial, etc.)

Frequently asked questions

Do you handle net metering?

We assist with paperwork and coordination. Final approval rests with the utility and rules at the time of application.

Are you a “KE-approved” installer?

We do not publish that claim on this website. Ask us directly for current registration status if you need it for your application.

Can solar be planned with a new house build?

Yes — and it is often smarter early. Coordinate with our construction track so roof and electrical rooms are ready.

Are prices listed on this page?

No. Contact us for a site-based proposal.
